Academic Honesty: Students are to follow the guidelines of the Harrison School District handbook. Cheating in any form will result in a zero for the assignment and disciplinary action. The zero may jeopardize your grade in this class. Plagiarism on any major or minor assignment will result in a zero for that assignment.
Grading Policy: Your grades will be taken from class work, homework assignments, quizzes, tests, lab work, projects and writing assignments. Your class work and homework assignments will make up 20% of your overall grade. All other work will make up 80% of your grade.
Make-Up Work/Examinations: It is the responsibility of a student to make up any work or test that is missed. IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE ABSENT, PLEASE GIVE AT LEAST TWO DAYS PRIOR NOTICE BEFORE A TEST.
|
SCHOOL RELATED ABSENCES: If you are not present in my class due to a school related absence, you are still responsible for ALL deadlines. In other words, if you have homework, project, or other assignment due, it must be turned in before you leave on your school trip. I will not take your work if you forget. If you bring it before school starts and I am not at school yet, you may slip the work under my door. You will not be able to turn in the assignments late. Tests will be scheduled for the day you return to class.
|
Inclement Weather Policy: If Harrison Public Schools are closed, assignments will be due the day return to class. Tests that were missed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled for the day the Harrison School District resumes classes.
